Things that help me work more effectively

-good team
people you work with really influence what you're doing. Not only in terms of creativity. If you're working in a mad house chances are you will produce less than you could've in a normal environment. Team work is something you can't avoid and it's a good idea to get along with your collegues.

-an inspiring teacher/leader/director/ whoever
there should be a person who helps you learn how to find solutions to creative questions and somebody you can really learn from

-surroundings
I realized that working with a clean table is way more practical than having stuff everywhere.
A wall or something to pin stuff on is also helpful for me. It seems to be crucial for my progress and thought process to look at what I've done and things that worked out

-an hour break
this is partially serious, but I feell like I have more time to distance myself from what I was doing if I have 60min istead of 30. It gives a fresh outlook on things and I can actually taste what I'm eating.

-a scheduler or something that reminds me of the time flow
I was never a big fan of organization, but now I obsess with "to do" lists and stuff that helps me remember everything.

-looking for inspiration
Right now I'm lucky enough to have piles of design magazines lying around, but when I get back, I'll probably be looking for cool designs and just new ideas. I have a goal to develop a visual library of interesting design solutions and books that will help me learn something new every time I look through them...

...that's all I can think of so far.
